Hello all!

Welcome to The Epitome of Derek.

I’m an advertising student currently based in Melbourne, Australia. You know, the large block of land between
the Indian and Pacific Ocean! Yep, I’m from there! Well my parents are both Asian so my roots are from Asia
but being the first generation of my family to be in Australia, I guess I could be considered Australia in a way!
Enough about my background.

From the time I could pick up a pencil or even work a computer, I was always using it for creative purposes! Yep, I was the child that was always on paint using the square, lines and pencil tools to create … well let's just call it abstract art! Not only was I always using paint but I was also the child who would use up all the ink printing all these different characters and colouring them in. I was so into colouring in that I would print different characters off and sell them to my class mates for 10 cents each. Yes, I know what you are all thinking, ‘what a strange child, selling printed characters to his class mates’. But hey! Thats me!

I hope to work in a large advertising agency in London or New York City in the future working in the creative field with a team of other creatives. Hopefully 20 years in I will be a Creative Director where my dream is!

Look at this. Just a dream to live in a city this beautiful.

Im all about graphic design, art, advertising, photography, fashion and well anything Derek. Not much to say about me but I’m completely spontaneous. Hopefully my blog can sum up me and show my passion for art, design and fashion.
